The Skytte Prize Committee is looking forward to receiving nominations for the 2021 Skytte Prize. The Prize is awarded on an annual basis to a scholar or a group of scholars who have made a significant contribution to political science. The nomination period for the 2021 Prize will close on January 22, 2021. The prize winner will be announced in early April of the same year. The prize winner receives a medal and a prize money of 500.000 Swedish crown. More information about the nomination process and the nomination form can be found here.
The 2020 prize award ceremony was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The 2020 Skytte Prize laureate, Peter Katzenstein, will therefore be decorated together with next year’s laureate. The 2021 prize award ceremony will also be postponed due to the still-ongoing global pandemic.
